The very first vinyl that we have put out is our 2015 album "Music From SteamWorld Heist".

As an added bonus each vinyl record comes with a free digital copy of the album (that you can listen to right away) just in case you don't already have it.

  • What's the size, format, speed, and weight?
  • Standard 150g weight 12" orange/gold transparent colored vinyl with standard 1/4" center hole at 33 1/3 RPM. Full color labels on both sides of disc. Jacket is printed on 20pt white boards with a gloss finish and a plain white inner sleeve. The transparent colored record allows for some light to pass through it, which looks fantastic.

  • Is the entire SteamWorld Heist album on one disc?
  • We have about 44 minutes in total using both sides of the record to fit the album. The album fits on the record just fine, with a few long fade outs at the ends of some songs being shortened.

    The robots from Steam Powered Giraffe are in a video game!
    That's right! Steam Powered Giraffe did music for the video game SteamWorld Heist. Rabbit, The Spine, and Hatchworth also make an appearance in the game, as themselves, entertaining their fellow robots in-game with their catchy tunes!

    This album includes the SteamWorld Heist theme song created by the band, as well as 12 tracks, featuring 6 completely original songs written for the game, and 6 classic Steam Powered Giraffe songs, re-recorded to fit into the SteamWorld Heist game universe. Ever wanted to hear what an acoustic version of Automatonic Electronic Harmonics would sound like? Well the game and this album have one! We even have a version of Brass Goggles, with backing vocals sung by the entire game development team at Image and Form!

    • In the video game SteamWorld Heist you command a steam-driven pirate crew in a series of epic tactical shootouts. Inspired by classics like XCOM and Worms, SteamWorld Heist is turn-based strategy with a twist: You manually aim the guns of your robots, allowing for insane skill shots and bullet-bouncing action!
